Mnoho l\u00e9ka\u0159\u016f je p\u0159edepisuje automaticky u\u017e p\u0159i mal\u00fdch odchylk\u00e1ch hladiny cholesterolu od sou\u010dasn\u00e9 p\u0159\u00edsn\u00e9 normy, i mlad\u00fdm lidem a s\u00a0informac\u00ed, \u017ee je t\u0159eba je u\u017e\u00edvat do\u017eivotn\u011b. Je ale cholesterol opravdu nep\u0159\u00edtel?<\/p>\n<p>Nebyl j\u00edm v\u017edy, a doufejme, \u017ee j\u00edm brzy b\u00fdt p\u0159estane, proto\u017ee j\u00edm ve skute\u010dnosti nikdy nebyl. Porozum\u011bt tomu, jak jsme se dostali do sou\u010dasn\u00e9 situace, kdy se cholesterolu boj\u00edme, je d\u016fle\u017eit\u00e9. Pro\u010d jsme se za\u010dali b\u00e1t molekuly, kterou si vyr\u00e1b\u00ed na\u0161e t\u011blo a kter\u00e1 je kriticky d\u016fle\u017eit\u00e1 pro \u017eivot? Pro\u010d si mysl\u00edme, \u017ee jen tak s\u00e1m od sebe vs\u00e1kne do st\u011bny tepen a zp\u016fsobuje ateroskler\u00f3zu? Pro\u010d je lipidov\u00e1 hypot\u00e9za nesmysl?<br \/>\nP\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm se cholesterol neusazuje v\u00a0c\u00e9v\u00e1ch rovnom\u011brn\u011b, p\u0159esto\u017ee jeho hladina v\u00a0krvi je v\u0161ude stejn\u00e1. Najdeme m\u00edsta s\u00a0pokro\u010dilou ateroskler\u00f3zou hned vedle t\u011bch zcela zdrav\u00fdch. Ateroskler\u00f3za nav\u00edc postihuje v\u00fdhradn\u011b tepny, p\u0159esto\u017ee cholesterol prot\u00e9k\u00e1 i \u017eilami \u2013 v\u00a0\u017eiln\u00ed krvi se m\u011b\u0159\u00ed. Tedy, kdy\u017e v\u00e1s l\u00e9ka\u0159 za\u010dne stra\u0161it vy\u0161\u0161\u00ed hladinou cholesterolu, stra\u0161\u00ed v\u00e1s hladinou v\u00a0\u017eiln\u00ed krvi! U\u017e to by m\u011blo v\u00e9st k\u00a0d\u016fkladn\u00e9mu zamy\u0161len\u00ed.<br \/>\nKrom\u011b toho hladina cholesterolu nekoreluje s\u00a0m\u00edrou ateroskler\u00f3zy a v\u00fdskytem kardiovaskul\u00e1rn\u00ed nemoci (KVN). Statistiky KVN v\u00a0r\u016fzn\u00fdch zem\u00edch ukazuj\u00ed mnohon\u00e1sobn\u00e9 (a\u017e 20x) rozd\u00edly ve v\u00fdskytu KVN, p\u0159esto\u017ee v\u00a0t\u011bchto zem\u00edch lid\u00e9 nemaj\u00ed tak rozd\u00edlnou hladinu cholesterolu. Dokonce lze naj\u00edt nep\u0159\u00edmou \u00fam\u011bru: zem\u011b s\u00a0ni\u017e\u0161\u00ed hladinou cholesterolu a vy\u0161\u0161\u00edm v\u00fdskytem KVN a obr\u00e1cen\u011b. Zjevn\u011b jsou ve h\u0159e dal\u0161\u00ed faktory. Ku\u0159\u00e1ci a diabetici nap\u0159\u00edklad maj\u00ed v\u00fdznamn\u011b vy\u0161\u0161\u00ed v\u00fdskyt KVN, p\u0159esto\u017ee jejich pr\u016fm\u011brn\u00e1 hladina cholesterolu je stejn\u00e1 jako v\u00a0ostatn\u00ed populaci.<br \/>\nExistuj\u00ed r\u016fzn\u00e9 nemoci, u kter\u00fdch je n\u011bkolikan\u00e1sobn\u011b a\u017e mnohon\u00e1sobn\u011b zv\u00fd\u0161en\u00e9 riziko KVN a to i u skupin pacient\u016f, kter\u00e9 jinak KVN moc netrp\u00ed (d\u011bti, mlad\u00e9 \u017eeny). Jde o chronick\u00e9 revmatick\u00e9 nemoci, jako je syst\u00e9mov\u00fd lupus (55x vy\u0161\u0161\u00ed riziko KVN u mlad\u00fdch \u017een), revmatoidn\u00ed artritis, Kawasakiho nemoc (schopn\u00e1 zab\u00edt mal\u00e9 d\u00edt\u011b na infarkt), Cushingova nemoc (6x), l\u00e9\u010dba kortikoidy, l\u00e9\u010dba imunosupresivy, l\u00e9\u010dba Avastinem (l\u00e9k na rakovinu), srpkovit\u00e1 an\u00e9mie (homozygotn\u00ed forma ucpe c\u00e9vy ji\u017e d\u011btem), chronick\u00e9 ledvinov\u00e9 selh\u00e1n\u00ed. Pacienti maj\u00ed stejnou hladinu cholesterolu jako zdrav\u00ed lid\u00e9. A tak\u00e9 pro\u010d je v\u00fdskyt ateroskler\u00f3zy v\u00a0t\u011ble takov\u00fd, jak\u00fd je.<br \/>\nZapome\u0148te v\u0161e, co \u201ev\u00edte\u201c a poj\u010fte se vydat na spole\u010dnou cestu pozn\u00e1n\u00ed.
