S<\/strong>erotonin zprost\u0159edkov\u00e1v\u00e1 pocit pot\u011b\u0161en\u00ed, radosti a vnit\u0159n\u00edho klidu. Je pot\u0159ebn\u00fd pro sp\u00e1nek a sni\u017euje vn\u00edm\u00e1n\u00ed bolesti. M\u00e1 pocit, \u017ee je z\u00e1visl\u00fd na druh\u00fdch. Je citliv\u00fd na bolest, nap\u0159. trp\u00ed fibromyalgi\u00ed nebo migr\u00e9nami. Serotonin je velmi d\u016fle\u017eit\u00fd pro funkci tr\u00e1vic\u00edho traktu, proto\u017ee naprost\u00e1 v\u011bt\u0161ina serotoninu v\u00a0t\u011ble se tvo\u0159\u00ed pr\u00e1v\u011b ve st\u0159evech, a jeho nedostatek se m\u016f\u017ee projevit jako nepravideln\u00e1 stolice, pr\u016fjem, dr\u00e1\u017ediv\u00fd tra\u010dn\u00edk. \u010clov\u011bk se nedostatkem serotoninu bude \u0161patn\u011b sp\u00e1t, bude m\u00edt probl\u00e9m usnout a sp\u00e1t hlubok\u00fdm sp\u00e1nkem.<br>Serotonin produkovan\u00fd ve st\u0159evn\u00ed sliznici cestuje t\u011blem p\u0159ichycen\u00fd na krevn\u00edch desti\u010dk\u00e1ch a pod\u00edl\u00ed se na regulaci mnoha t\u011blesn\u00fdch funkc\u00ed, jako jsou nap\u0159\u00edklad imunitn\u00ed reakce, tvorba kost\u00ed, tr\u00e1ven\u00ed, funkce srdce a jater, metabolismus, sr\u00e1\u017een\u00ed krve, regulace glykemie a regulace bolesti. Z\u00a0toho vypl\u00fdv\u00e1, \u017ee symptomy jeho nedostatku nebudou jen nervov\u00e9, ale mnohem \u0161ir\u0161\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Co zp\u016fsobuje nedostatek serotoninu<\/strong> <br>Stejn\u011b jako u jin\u00fdch neurotransmiter\u016f to jsou nedostatky ve v\u00fd\u017eiv\u011b, p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm nedostatek aminokyseliny tryptofanu, z\u00a0kter\u00e9 se syntetizuje, a kofaktor\u016f (pomocn\u00fdch l\u00e1tek) pot\u0159ebn\u00fdch pro jeho synt\u00e9zu. Tryptofan je esenci\u00e1ln\u00ed aminokyselina, nedok\u00e1\u017eeme si ji sami syntetizovat a mus\u00edme ji p\u0159ij\u00edmat v\u00a0potrav\u011b. Ban\u00e1ny, o kter\u00fdch se traduje, \u017ee jsou bohat\u00e9 na tryptofan, ho obsahuj\u00ed pouhou dvacetinu ve srovn\u00e1n\u00ed s\u00a0masem. Vegani a t\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 vegani se mohou dostat do v\u00fd\u017eivov\u00e9ho deficitu a trp\u011bt jeho n\u00e1sledky. Tryptofan je z\u00e1sadn\u00ed pro synt\u00e9zu nejen serotoninu, ale v\u00a0dal\u0161\u00edch kroc\u00edch i melatoninu. Ze serotoninu se tvo\u0159\u00ed i vitam\u00edn B3 (niacin).<br>Produkce serotoninu z\u00e1vis\u00ed na spr\u00e1vn\u00e9 signalizaci inzul\u00ednu a vyrovnan\u00e9 glykemii. Tryptofan se mus\u00ed dostat do mozku skrz hematoencefalickou bari\u00e9ru pomoc\u00ed transportn\u00edho enzymu. V\u00a0jak\u00e9m pom\u011bru tento enzym transportuje aminokyseliny, z\u00e1vis\u00ed na hladin\u011b inzul\u00ednu v\u00a0krvi i na mno\u017estv\u00ed jin\u00fdch aminokyselin v\u00a0krvi, zejm\u00e9na v\u011btven\u00fdch aminokyselin leucinu, izoleucinu a valinu, kter\u00e9 se ozna\u010duj\u00ed zkratkou BCAA (branch-chained amino acids).
